Art Alliance Brown County (AABC) Membership Guidelines
Guidelines for Full Artist/Gallery Membership
The artist must produce high quality original two
dimensional or three-dimensional fine art or fine crafts.
The art work created must be original from
conception to completion. No commercial kits of any kind may be used to create
the art or craft.
If the artist is a resident of
Brown County, the artist must offer work for viewing and sale to the public at a
studio or gallery in Brown County, or must offer the work for viewing and sale
in a retail establishment in Brown County.
If the artist is not a resident of
Brown County, the artist must offer the work for viewing and sale at a studio
maintained by the artist in Brown county or at a Brown County co-op gallery or
Brown county artists’ association that maintains a permanent location.
A shop, business or gallery is entitled to
membership if the gallery is located in Brown County, represents high quality
original two-dimensional or three-dimensional fine art or fine crafts, is not
part of a corporate chain or franchise, and maintains a substantial proportion
of locally or regionally produced arts and crafts.
Full Member artists and Gallery members may
obtain a Family Membership if so desired. A Family Membership will entitle the
participants to the same rights and privileges as Full Members, but Family
Membership is limited to two votes per Family Membership.
