Among the hardwood forests of
South Central Indiana, Brown County gracefully wears the seasons: Snow in
winter, daffodils in spring; green and more green in summer and a riotous
palette of colors in autumn. Throughout the year, the artists and craftsmen of
the county live among all the beauty nature has to offer. Like the plein air
painters who first set up their palettes here, they honor the heritage and they
carry on the tradition.
