Anabel Hopkins maintains two very different studios – one in rural Brown County where she works on impressionist oil and pastel landscapes. Fashioned after Monet’s gardens in Giverny, the grounds include a green-fenced pond and Japanese-style bridge, flower gardens, a studio full of antiques and views of Lake Monroe and the Hoosier National Forest. The studio, Les Nymphéas, can be visited on the June Brown County Studio and Garden Tour or by appointment. |
| Her other studio/gallery, “Contemporary Art Experience” is in downtown Nashville in Possum Trot Square and features abstract contemporary paintings and other art. Her Nashville studio provides supplies and equipment for visitors to try their hand at creating an abstract painting on the spot. For hours please phone (812) 340-8781. |
